Installing The PC Software

Installing the Profilux Plus II PC control software.

Download the latest PC Controller Software.

Run the file in this case ProfiLuxControlII_V301.exe

Click Unzip

Abbrechen means “Abort”

And Weiter means “Continue”

Click Weiter

Here Zuruck means “Back”

Click Weiter to continue

Just accept the default location and click Weiter

Click Weiter to continue

Schlieben means “Finish”

Click Schlieben to complete the installation.

The installer currently puts the installation in a strange part of the favourites tree, which will be addressed in a future release.

But you can simply drag the GHL folder to where you want it and delete the “Programme” folder.

Open the program above, after a few seconds the splash screen will disappear and you will be left with this view:

From the menu click Extras then Optionen.

And select English from the list of languages

It will then give you this message which means that the change won’t take effect till you restart the program.

Close the program and restart it.

Now you are ready to start configuring your system in English


If you are connecting via the serial cable and using COM1 port you can simply click connect. If not click the “…” button next to the communications box and configure your connection as you require it. (See other guides for connection via USB/LAN/WLAN.
